Biblioteca Municipal acolhe inauguração do Bienal Internacional de Arte de Cerveira

O Polo Expositivo da XXII Bienal Internacional de Arte de Cerveira vai ser inaugurado, no próximo sábado, na Biblioteca Professor Machado Vilela, estando em exposição até ao dia 11 de Setembro.

Com início agendado para às 15h, esta inauguração engloba um circuito de exposições e vai acolher 20 dos mais de 100 artistas convidados desta edição do bienal, intitulado de “We Must Take Action”.

Esta selecção «elogia a pintura sobre diferentes suportes», ao mesmo tempo que «mimetiza a imagem e as emoções», surgindo como resposta ao lema “Devemos Agir!”.

Os artistas representados em Vila Verde nesta exposição conta com nomes como Agostinho Santos, Ana Gil Rodríguez, André Sier, Benedita Kendall, Cabral Pinto, Ção Pestana, Carlos Casteleira, Fernanda Araújo, Filipe Rodrigues, Ilídio Salteiro ou Isabel de Sá, entre outros.
