Atentado terrorista a igreja cristã na Síria faz dezenas de vítimas

Pelo menos 20 pessoas morreram num atentado terrorista numa igreja cristã em Damasco, na Síria. Há ainda registo de 52 feridos no ataque, segundo dados avançados pela agência France-Presse.

Um ministro sírio atribui o ataque ao autoproclamado “Estado Islâmico”. Há vários anos que não existia um atentado deste género na região.

Este ataque terrorista acontece numa altura em que o novo regime político na Síria tenta reforçar o poder, mas agora com a preocupação acrescida da influência de grupos extremistas que estavam aparentemente desativados.
