Olhos postos no céu: vem aí uma “chuva de meteoros” esta madrugada

Na madrugada desta terça para quarta-feira vai ser possível observar, em Portugal continental, uma “chuva de meteoros” das Quadrântidas.

Este evento vai ter, no seu pico de actividade, entre 60 a 120 fragmentos por hora e, de acordo com o ‘Sapo Tek’, a Lua vai estar bastante brilhante, o que poderá dificultar a observar do fenómeno.

Os astrónomos acreditam que as Quadrântidas são os fragmentos do asteroide 2003 EH1, da constelação extinta “Quadrans Muralis”, ou Quadrante Mural, que hoje faz parte da constelação do Boieiro.

Segundo a ‘CNet’, a melhor altura para observar este fenómeno será entre as 3h40 e as 6h40 da madrugada deste dia 4 de Janeiro.

A próxima “chuva de meteoros” está prevista para o mês de Abril.
