«Incêndio criminoso» destruiu 40 hectares do Monte do Castelo

Um incêndio florestal de grandes dimensões, que chegou a ter quatro frentes activas, consumiu cerca de 40 hectares de floresta e mato, no Monte do Castelo, atingindo as Freguesias de Barbudo, Turiz e Moure. Cerca de 40 habitações estiveram em risco. «Um incêndio criminoso», nas palavras do comandante em exercício dos Bombeiros de Vila Verde, Luís Morais.
