O Presidente da Câmara de Vila Verde, António Vilela, foi ilibado num inquérito do Ministério Público (MP) de Braga aberto após uma queixa anónima na qual se dizia que teria praticado um crime de abuso de poder por ter registado, «indevidamente», em 2011, a favor da Câmara, um edifício que seria pertença da Junta de Freguesia de Soutelo.
